I want to present you my version for fruit salad. The vast majority of people appreciate the taste and fragrance of fruits, being true sources of energy and vitamins. Even if it is winter or summer, we can opt for an easy dessert to prepare at home, as long as we have fresh or canned fruit.

In addition, fruits work wonders in detoxifying the body.
In order to pass more easily over the first month of the year and wanting to have a balanced and somewhat healthy diet, with minimal financial expenses, I chose fruit salad.

In a bowl of warm water add the rum essence and soak the raisins cleaned of any tails. In another bowl (wide and high, in which we will mix the fruit cubes) we put the pineapple compote with syrup.

The ingredients can be different or similar and if you let your imagination run wild, then everything is ready, add a little soul and good appetite!

The best fruit salad

The ingredients for this type of salad may differ. But for starters use bananas, kiwi, pineapple, green or golden apple, muesli, tangerines, berries and a burnt sugar syrup. For two servings, the following are enough: a banana, two kiwis, a pineapple, if it is in the box, only half of its contents is enough, a big apple, here you can choose between golden and green, 100 grams of chocolate muesli or even whole grains with chocolate, three tangerines, 100 grams of berries and syrup. To start with, we must mention how to make sugar syrup: put in a kettle 3 tablespoons of brown sugar with a tip and turn the heat to low, until it starts slowly, to melt the sugar.

Mix patiently and then, after it has homogenized, becoming a viscous substance, pour a quarter cup of water. Leave until all the sugar melts and mix with water, obtaining a thicker liquid. You can cut the bananas into thin slices, or longer strips for a more interesting look, although you must take into account the fact that they will be crushed when mixed with the other fruits. You can cut the kiwi fruits into small cubes, and you can cut the apple into thinner strips, enough to get some rectangular or square shapes. You can chop the mandarins anyway or you can leave them in separate slices and the berries must be carefully selected, use the strongest ones, without being too ripe, otherwise they will crumble. A very interesting idea would be that if you opt for softer berries, squeeze them well in the burnt sugar syrup and so you get an even more exotic syrup, with a unique aroma.

After you have all the fruits cut, you can mix them and put muesli on top, and pour the syrup obtained over the muesli. This means that for the appearance you will have to use two separate containers in which to put the fruits and muesli equally and then to add the burnt sugar syrup. The best fruit salad is also the healthiest, because all the ingredients are natural, full of energy and without preservatives.

If you want, you can add whipped cream, but this is not exactly indicated because it will rob you of the true flavor of the dish. Given that everything is natural, even if the burnt sugar syrup will be slightly diluted, the effect is an unforgettable taste. Fruit salads in general are very simple to make and you should not be shy to make more eccentric mixtures, if we can call them that.
